INGREDIENTS:
- 2 pounds fresh ground beef or bison
- Bodacious beef seasoning
- Provolone cheese (or your choice)
- Hamburger buns of your choice
- Gently shape the beef into balls the size of your palm. Don't overwork, and don't mix anything into the meat.
- Flatten the beef into a patty with a slight dimple in the middle to help it keep its shape.
- Season patties liberally with Bodacious Beef Seasoning. You live only once.
- Heat FIREDISC® to medium-high heat.
- Place cheese slices, cut smaller than the patties, in the middle of the patty. Place a second patty on top, and pinch the edges in to seal in the cheese.
- Cook the burgers in the middle of the FIREDISC for 1-2 minutes on each side, until a tasty char appears.
- Move the burgers to the middle second heat ring. Flip often until desired doneness.
- Place burgers on the bun of your choosing (market-brand bread or brioche — whatever your fancy). Garnish as makes you happy.
