FRIED SOFT SHELL CRAB SANDWICH

(SERVES 2) In the mood for a seafood delicacy for lunch? Try the FireDisc version of the soft shell crab sandwich, dipped in just the right batter and fry on each side for 3 minutes, so00 so00 good.
INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 soft shelled crabs, cleaned
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 c flour
  • 3 c fry oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 leaves of lettuce
  • Mayo
  • 4 slices of bread
PREPARATION:
  • Pour the oil into the FIREDISC® and set the heat to high, allow the oil to reach 365 degrees F.
  • While the oil heats, whisk the egg and cream together and in a separate bowl mix the flour with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Dip the crab in the flour, then the egg mixture and then in the flour one more time.
  • Fry the crab carefully in the oil about 3 minutes per side.
  • Drain on a paper lined plate, place on top a slice of bread, top with tomato, lettuce, and mayo and enjoy!
