INGREDIENTS:
- 1 filet of tilapia
- ½ green bell peppers, sliced
- ½ red bell peppers, sliced
- ½ onion, sliced
- 3 tsp of olive oil
- 1/3 of jalapeno pepper, sliced
- 2 eggs
- 3 tsp of flour
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- Chop all the vegetables and cook in the FIREDISC® set to medium high heat for about 5 minutes or until they are soft.
- Set them aside and wipe down the FIREDISC® Set the FIREDISC® to high and add the oil.
- While the oil is heating bread the fish by seasoning with salt and coating with flour.
- Whip the eggs to create an egg wash, dip the floured fish into the egg wash and then into the bread crumbs.
- Repeat the breading process one more time and then lightly fry the tilapia in the oil.
- Cook for 5 – 10 min and remember to flip the fish whenever necessary to avoid burning the sides.
- Remove the fish from the oil and allow to cool on a plate topped with a paper towel.
- Serve with vegetables and enjoy!
