ALL-TIME GREAT GRILLED AVOCADOS

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 ripe, firm, fresh avocados
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime or lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tablespoon of olive oil
  • Seasoned salt, to taste
  • ½ fresh salsa, optional for half shell version
PREPARATION:
  • For grilled slices:
  • Cut avocado in half. Seed. Peel.
  • Slice. Drizzle with fresh lime or lemon juice. Brush with olive oil.
  • Place slices on FIREDISC® cooker for 2 minutes on each side. Season with salt to taste.
  • For grilled halves:
  • Cut avocado in half. Remove seed. Drizzle with fresh lime or lemon juice. Brush with olive oil.
  • Place cut side down on FIREDISC® cooker for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt to taste. Fill with fresh salsa or your favorite fresh ingredients.
  • NOTE: Adjust cooking temperature if any stage of this recipe goes too fast or gets too hot. Turn the heat down a bit and keep on cooking. Your FIREDISC® cooker heats quickly and evenly.
