INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2 qts frying oil
- 1 c whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 c unsalted melted butter
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 c coconut
- 1/2 c mini chocolate chips
- Whisk the milk and eggs together in a small bowl
- In a separate bowl combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
- Mix the liquid mixture into the dry, add the melted butter and mix until a dough forms.
- Add the oil to the FIREDISC® and set the heat to high
- Bring the oil to 350 degrees.
- Use the ice cream scoop to drop small balls.
- Fry in small batches, about 6 at a time.
- Transfer doughnut holes to a paper lined plate with a slotted spoon.
- Top with chocolate cips and coconut, allow to cool and serve!
